BetGuardian Review

1. Who Bets Here

You’ll find that the casuals flock to BetGuardian because of the huge bonus you’ll receive for making a deposit, and the sharps tend to stay away because there isn’t much in the way of early lines or low juice. It’s not a terrible book in that respect, but BetGuardian is definitely a place where the recreational players go to have a good time.

2. Customer Service

Well, you won’t have any issues with getting paid out, so that is out of the way when you deal with BetGuardian. Even if you have a problem with BetGuardian, it isn’t a problem to get a hold of someone to speak to, which is more than you can say for a number of the sportsbooks in the industry. It seems like a small thing to ask for, but you’d be surprised how big of an issue it is at other books.

3. Placing A Bet

The betting engine at BetGuardian is a little old school, but it’s familiar to most of the players that frequent the site, from casual players to the sharps and even if they haven’t wagered before, it’s easy enough to figure out. It’s a bit disconcerting to go form such a snazzy home page to an older betting engine, but it’s practical and allows you to do what you want to do, which is place a bet. Just check what you want to wager on, enter the amounts and bam….you’re off and running.

However, their mobile site is very good and you don’t have to struggle to see it on your smartphone, which is an issue with sites trying to integrate this type of betting.

4. Variety

The variety at BetGuardian is slightly above average as all the major sports are covered and a lot of the fringe sports. They’ve even started to offer more in the way of entertainment and exotic props, which is good for the casual players. The lines aren’t early, but they’re good enough.

Betting Limits:

  • NFL Games: $1,000
  • NBA Games: $1,000
  • NHL Games: $1,000
  • MLB Games: $1,000

5. VIP Program/Loyalty Program

There is no VIP or Loyalty program at BetGuardian right now.

6. Bonus & Rebate Program

The bonuses is what brings a lot of the casual players to BetGuardian and the more you deposit, the more you’ll receive. Here is the breakdown of the bonus structure:

Deposit $100-249, and you get 15% to be rolled over three times.
Deposit $250-699, and you get 30% to be rolled over three times.
Deposit $700-1299 and you get 40% to be rolled over seven imes.
Deposit $1300-2500, and you get 50% to be rolled over nine times.

Along with two 10% free-play bonuses to be used twice a year and 10% in casino chips, that isn’t bad at all, especially when you look at what else is being offered around the world of online betting.

7. Website & Usability

Here is where the services at BetGuardian could stand a little sprucing up, because the home page is fantastic, but once you get past that, you’ll be a little puzzled at the lack of modern graphics. There isn’t much to do at BetGuardian but make wagers, and if that’s what you’re looking for, then you’ll be happy. But don’t expect any content, or predictions and picks, or anything of that nature. You’ll be left unsatisfied, but if you just want to bet, then BetGuardian’s site will be just fine for you.

8. Reputation

BetGuardian is affiliated with JustBet, which also has a good reputation and the only reason that you wouldn’t put up BetGuardian up there with JustBet is simply, not enough people know about it. But the good folks at BetGuardian are always looking to improve on their services and they’re always open to suggestions from their clientele. They already have a good foundation in terms of paying their customers out and having enough lines for everyone to sort through, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them surge up the charts in the immediate future.
