| Diamond Sportsbook International Review |
|
Diamond Sports Book International comes for the respected BetCris family, which is like using Japanese technology: you know you’re getting quality. While BetCris is the home for anything but U.S. customers, DSI – along with brother Bookmaker – services the U.S. clientele. It goes without saying that this is a secure sportsbook with a good resume. They have good limits, early lines, a good loyalty program and easy avenues to get your money in and out. Throw in a good website and you have yourself another recommended shop from the BetCris family. Editor Rating
Corporate InformationAddress: Website Customer Service Currencies Accepted: 1. Who Bets HereThe sharps tend to magnetize to the BetCris family of sportsbooks and DSI is no different. One of the main appeals is the fact that they open the lines for many sports and if they aren’t the first, they are still a close second. But DSI does bring a good brand name and there is nothing here that deters recreational players. As matter of fact, recreational players also love this sportsbook because of the loyalty points program, the wide assortment of betting lines and the good customer service. Depositing

Their reps in Costa Rica are all fairly easy to deal with and they know the product very well. You can reach their customer service through phone, e-mail or live chat pretty much any time of day, month or year. Methods of Contact 3. Placing A BetBetting at DSI is a fairly straightforward process. While their betting engine isn’t the prettiest thing we’ve ever seen, it’s has a good look and it is easy to use. After you log in, you’ll be presented with all of the main sections in the middle of the page with check boxes beside them. On the right is your account vitals. When you select a box or two, you then click “continue”, which then displays the lines for the sport. After that, pick the side, enter your wager amount and confirm. The engine itself is very similar – if not identical – to Bookmaker. Aside from the fact that you have to jump through an extra page or so instead of the new wave method, which opens up a bet ticket somewhere on the same page, there are no real issues with placing a bet through DSI’s website. You can also call in your bet whenever you like. Methods of Betting 4. VarietyDSI has a very good variety in their sportsbook. You’ll have many aisles to check out aside from the four major sports, including handball action from the Danish, German and Swiss leagues. DSI has got major sports covered in a major way. They are generally one of the first to open the lines for the day-to-day events but if you want to walk off the beaten path, they do have all the nooks and crannies covered. Entertainment props are a regular mainstay and aside from a better dose of live betting, there isn’t much missing here. Limits 5. VIP Program/Loyalty ProgramDSI has the same loyalty program as BetCris and Bookmaker, which offers three levels of membership and each has special perks. When you open an account and make a deposit, you’re put into the Gold Membership category and the more action you have, you grow into Platinum and Diamond. You can also start in Platinum if you deposit $1500 or more. Beyond that, as you bet, you accumulate BetPoints, which are reward points that can be used for more free payouts, cash back and gear from the store. Not many sportsbooks have loyalty programs nowadays and this is really one of many reasons that DSI stands above the crowd. 6. Bonus & Rebate ProgramJust like Bookmaker, DSI follows suit with their bonus program. On your initial deposit, you’ll receive a 20% free play bonus with a five times rollover or a 10% free play with a three times rollover, if you prefer the smaller restriction. On re-ups, you’ll get the same 10% free play with the same three times rollover. The free play isn’t as good as cold, hard cash but it’s not bad. It may be nitpicky, but this is one area where DSI – and Bookmaker – could improve. 7. Website & UsabilityDSI’s website is fairly good across the board. Their original landing page in crisp and clean. You’ll find promos on the right, lines on the left and some features in the middle. It’s not the New York Times home page, so don’t expect daily updates to it but from an aesthetic point of view, the landing page is above average when compared to other sportsbooks. The site is fairly easy to use. It’s not exactly the Wikipedia of sports betting but they do have some sports articles in the “sports news” section once in a while and they do have a gambling glossary. 8. ReputationDSI is part of the BetCris family and as we’ve mentioned a few times now, that is one of the best brands in the sports betting industry. They have a good history of service and they are widely recognized among the sportsbook leaders. |
