Legends Sportsbook Review

It isn’t Kurt Angle’s three I’s but as the company motto says, Legends (also spelled Legendz) is all about integrity, efficiency and teamwork. Give them credit: they do deliver.

Legends stands out of the crowd because of good customer service. What that means is that your money is secure and you’ll get paid shortly after you ask for it.

While legitimate customer service is a lost art in the sports betting industry, it also isn’t enough to get this sportsbook to the top of the pack on its own. They really don’t have any other selling features besides the good service.

Overall, it’s a shop that keeps it straight and keeps it simple.

1. Who Bets Here

Legends is the sportsbook for many basic bettors. Since there is really no razzle and dazzle, this is the perfect shop for someone who just wants an outlet for wholesome sports betting or maybe a second book to shop for better lines.

They do have a sharp flavor to them (especially since they merged with The Pig) because public bettors are sucked in by carrots like bonuses and sexy girls on the front page whereas the shrewd players look for a reliable place where their money is safe.

2. Customer Service

Legends has among the best customer service in the industry, which feels good to say. To clarify, customer service doesn’t mean the biggest bonus and it doesn’t mean the best betting experience. What it does mean is that they are straight up with all of their processes, including rollovers, terms and conditions, and withdrawals, and they don’t hassle you when you want your money.

In this area, Legends gets high marks. They claim to have unparalleled customer service and the fastest payouts in the industry and while we’re not sitting here with a stopwatch, if they aren’t the fastest they are neck-in-neck with the leaders.

One surprising note is that their customer service is not open 24/7/365, like most sportsbooks.

3. Placing A Bet

Placing a bet at Legends is a simple process.

When you log in, you’re actually taken to a page that looks fairly different than their home page. On this page, the sports are on the left, the lines are in the middle and the details are on the right. The method is a basic point and click procedure that most bettors have done many times.

4. Variety

One area where Legends could really use a boost is their variety. Sure, they have all the major sports present and they do have some cool player matchup props once in a while, but they lack in comparison to some sportsbooks.

Their futures are very limited and their breadth of exotics is merely crumbs. Legends really limits their action to just the major lines in the major sports.

Limits
NFL Games: $500
NBA Games: $500
NHL Games: $500
MLB Games: $500

Legends has some very low limits but keep in mind that these can be negotiated. These are the companies stated limits for new accounts.

5. VIP Program/Loyalty Program

Legends Sportsbook does not offer a VIP program at this time.

6. Bonus & Rebate Program

Legends has a decent bonus program, offering a 20% cash bonus on deposits of $100 or more. There is a $500 cap on that bonus but you can earn an extra 5% on your bonus when you deposit on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

They also have a re-up bonus, which is 10% and similarly can earn an extra 5% if the deposit is made on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

All of these bonuses have a five-time rollover unless you deposit $1000 or more. In that case, your rollover jumps up to seven times.

7. Website & Usability

There isn’t much to add in this category as Legends has a very simple website. Aside from a very clean landing page, you’ll find a couple of commonplace resources.

Legends has their own blog, which offers random handicapping information regarding various sporting events and they also have a news feed where heads linemaker “B Sharps” offers his weekly betting roundups. It’s something, but it’s not much.

8. Reputation

They are a respected sportsbook and considering you can deposit at a lot of black holes nowadays, respect and honesty actually mean a lot. They don’t do a ton of marketing so they aren’t a household name but the smart bettors know that this is a trusted place.
