| Superbook Sportsbook Review |
|
Superbook is yet another one of the shops that hails from the Jazette Family of sportsbooks. What does that mean? A poor payout reputation and consistent complaints from its former customer base. If you’re looking for payout problems, this sportsbook is ideal. Other than that, expect to see a decent variety of lines and a product very similar to Sportsbook.com. Editor Rating
Corporate InformationWebsite Customer Service Currencies Accepted: 1. Who Bet’s HereSuperbook is a sportsbook for the casual gambler. There isn’t low juice or early lines, so this isn’t a place for the pros. Beyond that, they have a wide selection of the wacky exotics and some good choices for betting variety, which appeals more to Joe Public. Depositing Withdrawing 2. Customer ServiceThe customer service at Superbook is just as it is at all Jazette sportsbooks: good until you request a payout. Everyone is polite and informative when you’re depositing, but you may not get the same service when withdrawing. While it’s not universal, but Superbook – like a number of other Jazette books – has hassled players on payouts with either delays, confiscations or refusals. Methods of Contact 3. Placing A BetPlacing a bet at Superbook is easy as pie. Once you login, you’ll be presented with a long list of lines that you choose from. Since it uses the same betting engine as Sportsbook.com, you’ll notice that it inherits the same betting ticket-style. What that means is that you’ll do all your lines selecting in the middle of the screen and you’re ticket will always be on the right hand side updating on the fly. At Superbook, you can only place bets online. Methods of Betting 4. VarietyThey say that variety is the spice of life and Superbook does give you that. If you’re the meat and potatoes guy, you’ll be satisfied with all the major sports covered. If you’re a reality show buff, chances are you’ll like betting here too. Superbook has a large menu to choose from and while the live-betting is a work in progress, pretty much everything else you need is here. Limits 5. VIP Program/Loyalty ProgramSuperbook does not offer a VIP or loyalty program at this time. 6. Bonus & Rebate ProgramSuperbook has a very straightforward bonus program: 10% cash on initial deposit and 5% cash on reloads. The reloads are capped off at $500 but the real sticking point has to be the rollover. Superbook requires that you rollover your bonuses – both initial and reload – 20 times. That’s about as big of a rollover as you are going to see in this industry. 7. Website & UsabilitySuperbook has a decent website and for the most part, it is identical to Sportsbook.com The color scheme is different, but aside from one other noticeable change, it’s about the same. That one noticeable difference is the main page. While Sportsbook.com has a landing page with its menu of promos, contests and lines down the center along with a sexy media rotator, Superbook gets straight to business. When you logon, all you’ll find is the lines down the center of the page and a betting ticket in place – regardless of whether you have signed in or not. The site has some other tools like tip sheets, betting trends, top 10 bets and team statistics, so they do deserve some credit on livening up the site. But outside of that, this is purely just a website for placing bets – imagine that. 8. ReputationThe Jazette Group of sportsbooks is not a reliable brand name right now. They have changed payout processors a couple of times and that has partially contributed to the payout problems but until they can remove this obstruction, former customers and current players will continue to drag their name through the mud. |
